ZapReply ("we", "our", or "the extension") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your data when you use our Chrome extension.

Data We Process

To provide our AI email reply generation service, we temporarily process:

• Selected email text: The text you highlight when using ZapReply to generate a reply
• Email address: Only if you purchase Pro, to verify your license

How We Use Your Data

• Email text: Sent to our AI service (Claude by Anthropic) to generate replies. This data is processed in real-time and is NOT stored on our servers
• License email: Stored securely to validate your Pro subscription status
• Usage counts: Stored locally in your browser to track daily free usage limits

Data Storage

We maintain minimal data storage:

• Email content: Never stored. Processed in real-time only
• License information: Stored securely in our database (Supabase) with encryption
• Local storage: Usage counts and preferences stored in your browser's local storage

Third-Party Services

We use the following trusted third-party services:

• Anthropic (Claude AI): Processes email text to generate replies
• Stripe: Handles secure payment processing for Pro upgrades
• Supabase: Stores license validation data

Each service has their own privacy policy and security measures. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures:

• All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption
• No email content is ever logged or stored
• Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe (PCI compliant)
• License data is stored with encryption at rest

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request deletion of your license data
• Clear local storage data through your browser settings
• Uninstall the extension at any time to stop all data processing

Children's Privacy

ZapReply is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy.
